JTB Gibraltar Mirage
She is the foundation mare of Bella's Barb breeding program. This one came all the way from Morocco its self!
Short Story of her background: While at the auction she noticed a beautiful red roan mare being led into the ring. She was here for a barb mare and stallion with an allowance of 25,000 Moroccan Dirham, which equaled around 2850 in US money. She wasn't sure about how high the bidding would go for such a beautiful rare color. For about 1 minute, the bidding hovered around 1000 Moroccan Dirham. Bella sat in the stands nervously biting her nails, trying to decided whether to place a bid or to let the gorgeous mare be sold on. She made her decision once the auctioneer started looking for more bids but found none. She sat up, her marker in hand. " 13,000!" she yelled. A few people turned around to stare in shock. No one dared bid higher, and in the end she walked out of the auction block with the roan in tow. It turned out she was a pure Barb from desert bloodines, and came with papers. Bella knew that she was the perfect mare to start out her Barb program with.
Extra: After bringing her back to the guest house where she was staying, she noticed the mare's love for jumping, which would pass on great agility to her future foals. The mare's name was simply "Mirage" but Bella lengthened it and added her prefix later.
